KCC Volunteer Opportunities

The Kid’s Ministry Team is here to share the amazing love of Jesus with our kids. We support the children of the church through several classroom programs each week and organize activities throughout the year. In this ministry you can sign up to teach, assist a teacher or simply provide behind the scenes support related to classroom prep or activities.

In this ministry, which is usually provided during Sunday morning services, you will provide basic care to infants & children, 0-5 years of age. Volunteers will be on a rotating schedule & subject to a background check for the safety and security of our little ones.

As an adult youth leader, you'll work face to face with middle school and high school students to make a lasting impact on their lives. Students connect through relationships, not programs and we seek those leaders with a heart for sharing God through our lives. We have many roles to fill from teaching, music, games, planning, cooking, and anyone who has a heart for students.

Do you play an instrument or sing? Are you comfortable on stage and enjoy leading people in worship? The Worship Team leads our congregation in worship every Sunday as we enter into the presence of the Lord as a family.

Do you have experience with computers or running a sound board? The Production Team assists in leading worship by providing the sound mix for the band that comes through the speakers, lighting during service, and running the slides that show up on the projectors for worship & the sermon.

Are you warm, welcoming, & enjoy meeting new people? The Welcome Home Team does just that. We greet newcomers & members alike each Sunday. We provide relevant information including where things are located (bathrooms, nursery, etc), as well as, what is going on in the life of our church. This ministry also serves communion and takes up the offering.

KCC Small Groups have one simple purpose: to bring people together. As a host, you simply need to meet 4 requirements: (1) Have a heart for people, (2) Open your home (or office... or lunch table... etc), (3) Serve refreshments, & (4) Turn on the video or open the study guide. If you can meet those four requirements, you can be a Small Group Host at KCC.
